Qualitative & Quantitative Research

Qualitative Research

We conducted in-person interviews with customers at Japanese-style arcades and stores selling character merchandise across major U.S. cities, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, and Houston.

I was responsible for the interviews in Los Angeles, where I spoke directly with local consumers to understand their perceptions of Japanese characters and their experiences with arcades and related entertainment.

Quantitative Research

Using SurveyMonkey, we conducted an online survey and collected responses from more than 300 participants. The survey gathered quantitative data on consumer behavior, including purchasing habits and preferences related to character merchandise.
